One of the first steps in developing a general plan update is to identify, document, and map existing conditions within the city. The Glendale General Plan Map Atlas provides a detailed description of existing geographic and demographic conditions in a concise and graphic format, as of 2015, within the City of Glendale, and the City’s Municipal Planning Area. The Map Atlas is organized into more than 20 topics, including land use, demographics, transportation, and growth areas. Each topic of the Map Atlas presents summary text capturing important highlights and establishing the current settings within the City of Glendale. Maps are presented to illustrate each topic in a graphic format.
